Brief History
Established on 17th March 2013 by Rt. Rev. Victor Lyngdoh, DD, St. Dominic Savio Parish was carved out of St. Thomas Parish, Mairang, to serve a rapidly growing Catholic population.
Fr. Anselm Nonglang served as the first Parish Priest, pioneering the mission within the Khasi community. Since its inception, the parish has focused on providing pastoral care and strengthening the Christian life of the faithful in the Kynshi region.
